BUILT TO BELONG

STONE THAT BELONGS HERE

Wānaka has a landscape unlike anywhere else. The schist stone that runs through it - rich in colour, layered in texture - is one of the most extraordinary natural building materials in the world.

At Stacked Stone Co., we take that stone and craft it into spaces that feel like they were always meant to be there. Bespoke stonework, designed and built start to finish by someone who genuinely loves the material and the place it comes from.

THE WAY WE DO IT

Every project starts with a conversation. We want to understand the space, the architecture, and what you're trying to create - before a single stone is placed.

From there, Will handles everything. Design input, sourcing, laying, finishing. One person, fully across your project, from start to finish.

Stone is one of the oldest building materials on earth. We think it deserves to be treated that way - with patience, skill, and a genuine appreciation for what it can do.

Project Spotlight

CARDRONA STATION

Cardrona Station is one of Wānaka's most anticipated new subdivisions - and the clubhouse needed stonework to match.

We random schist paving throughout the space, bringing the character of Central Otago's landscape right into the heart of the development. Stone sourced locally, laid by hand, built to belong.
